NPT-200-1 RELEASE FABRIC
Lightweight Porous PTFE Coated Glass Fabric
DESCRIPTION:
NPT-200-1 is a lightweight PTFE coated glass release fabric used as a release interface fabric. Porous Bleeder is resistant to all solvents, adhesives and resin systems normally encountered in composite and metal-bond manufacture. It will release from all commercial resin systems between assembly details where thickness of the release material must be minimal. NPT-200-1 is resistant to all solvents and cure by-products encountered in composite and metal-bond manufacture. It will release from all commercial resin systems.
APPLICATION:
NPT-200-1 is designed as a release fabric that will allow excess resin, volatiles, and trapped air to bleed through the release fabric and be absorbed in the bleeder or vented away from the assembly. It is especially useful where tolerances do not allow for a heavier material. NPT-200-1 is ideal for flat and simple contoured assemblies.
