Aqualine R-100

DESCRIPTION
Loctite® Frekote® Aqualine® R-100 is a water-based release agent designed for application to mold surfaces preheated to between 60°C (140°F) and 182°C (360°F). Aqualine R-100 chemically bonds to the mold surface to form a thin, chemically resistant coating capable of releasing all natural and synthetic polymers (except silicone elastomers). Aqualine R-100 provides excellent slip and thus is ideally suited for extremely difficult to mold compounds (ie. highly filled polymers). Aqualine R-100 gives minimal build-up on the mold surface and exhibits high thermal stability for all molding processes.
APPLICATION
Aqualine R-100 should be spray applied to molds preheated to a minimum of 140°F (60°C). Aqualine R-100 is suitable for application up to 360°F (182°C). Apply Aqualine R-100 using a finely atomized fan pattern. Regulate gun output to 2-3 fl. oz./minute for molds heated to 140-300°F or 4-5 fl. oz./minute for molds above 300°F.
