NPT-200 CLASS 2 RELEASE FABRIC
Porous PTFE Coated Glass Fabric
DESCRIPTION:
NPT-200 Class 2 is a porous PTFE-coated plain weave fiberglass cloth release fabric.
NPT-200 Class 2 is resistant to all solvents, adhesives and resin systems normally
encountered in composite and metal-bond manufacture. It will release from all commercial resin systems
APPLICATION:
NPT-200 Class 2 is designed as a release fabric that will allow excess resin, volatiles and trapped air to bleed through the release fabric and be absorbed in the bleeder or vented out of the bag through the vacuum vent port. It can be used on metal-bond assemblies to allow the adhesive flash to be bled into the breather and removed from the assembly. NPT-200 Class 2 is ideal for flat and simple contoured assemblies.
