Grip Strips
Description
Grip Strips are manufactured from 2″ wide clad aluminum with a uniform stamped pattern of raised points.
Application
Grip Strips are used to hold prepreg and adhesive films in place during lay up and curing operations. Grip Strips are designed to be bonded to the lay up tool surface in the excess area about 1″ beyond EOP; this can be done using High Temperature Assembly Tape for temporary use or by using adhesive film for more permanent application
